I am a scaredy cat

Truth: I am scared of the dark, the basement, the garage and mosquitos.
I also plug my ears and close my eyes when previews for horror movies come on the television. Especially when it is dark in the room that I am watching the television.

I am tres pathetico.

I've always wondered. Is it "here here!" or is it "hear hear!"? I really, honestly have always wondered. Along the same lines, I've always wondered if it's "grin and bare it" or "grin and bear it" because I like bears and they make me feel more warm and fuzzy than bares do.

Did you know you're pretty much my favorite person in the world? You don't have to conform either, when you go to horse-and-buggyagogoland.

You forgot to mention that you're afraid of the big, bad wolf of your childhood dreams.

I was always afraid of the killer clown who lived back in Sam's woods behind grandpa's house. Or so said Heather. I believed her, of course.

What is the deal with all the horror movies anyway? I don't pay attention to movies but based on the TV previews I see, horror movies as a percentage of total movies is way abnormally high, and has been for months.

Hopefully it's just a fad that will soon go away. But I've been hoping the reality tv fad will go away for the past seven years now. It doesn't show any signs of leaving.

Reality TV is just lowbrow amusement. Horror movies are spirit rot.
